Shehi Family Winery
What started simply as a way to "return to the lands of the ancestors" after a two-decade-long absence from life on the farm in the village of Farke. 'Shehi Family Winery' has become the spiritual expression of our commitment to the production of premium wines through responsible agriculture. Our 3-hectare farm is located in the Farka area, just 3 km from the center of Tirana, 2 km from Dajti mountain and 1 km from TEG. Now, from the beginning, the second generation of young farmers is growing up, our children, encouraged by the success in their professional life, the desire to continue the work of our ancestors in the production of wines is embedded!
where it started
It all starts in the vineyards
5 brothers and their families chose to put down roots in 1998 and plant 1 hectare of vineyard and 2 hectares of olive farm.. year after year we expanded our vineyard by planting grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Riesling, Sangiovese and Albanian varieties of grapes Shesh I ZI . Now we have 3 ha of vines and 2 ha of different fruits such as apples, pomegranates, plums, etc. We continue our expansion with joy and pride. The predominant land is rocky, and Mother Nature does our irrigation and we practice sustainable farming methods to ensure the land is environmentally and economically sustainable for generations to come.
